BRILLIANT EARTH: UX ENHANCEMENTS

Brilliant Earth, a leading ethical and sustainable jewelry brand, needed ongoing UX improvements to enhance the online shopping experience. Over two years, I contributed to approximately 50 projects, optimizing everything from product discovery to checkout.


Problem Statement

  • The Product Listing Page (PLP) needed a redesign to improve browsing and engagement.
  • Filters and navigation required optimization for better usability.
  • The basket, product pages, and homepage needed UX refinements to boost conversions.


Approach & Process

1. PLP Redesign & Filter Enhancements

  • Conducted benchmark research to identify best practices in jewelry eCommerce as well as out-of-category.
  • Proposed an improved filtering design for better product discovery.
  • Designed mobile and desktop wireframes to ensure a seamless experience across devices.


2. Navigation & Homepage Optimization

  • Proposed a refined site navigation to streamline the browsing experience.
  • Designed homepage layouts that balanced branding with product promotion.
  • Ensured consistency in UI patterns across the site.


3. Basket & Product Page Enhancements

  • Improved the basket flow, making checkout more intuitive.
  • Designed product pages with enhanced imagery, descriptions, and CTAs for stronger engagement.
